The Central University of Haryana (CUH) stands as a beacon of academic excellence and progressive higher education in India. Established under the Central Universities Act, 2009, Central University Of Haryana. It is one of the 15 new Central Universities formed during the XI Five Year Plan (2007–2012) by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Located in the serene and rural heartland of Jant-Pali villages in Mahendergarh district, Haryana, CUH’s permanent campus sprawls across 484 acres, offering a peaceful and conducive environment for academic pursuits and research.

Department of Psychology – CUH

Established in 2014–15, the Department of Psychology at the Central University of Haryana operates under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. It is committed to academic excellence, innovative curriculum design, and research-led teaching.

The department fosters a student-friendly and research-oriented environment, equipping learners with theoretical knowledge and practical skills. It is well-equipped with experimental labs, psychological tests, biofeedback systems, and computer labs, supported by modern audio-visual teaching tools.To enhance learning, the department regularly organizes seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and internships. Its research focus spans areas like personality, psychological assessment, rehabilitation, organizational behavior, positive psychology, biopsychology, and health psychology.

With a blend of academic rigor and real-world application, the department prepares students for successful careers in psychology and mental health fields.

    • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university
    • Minimum 50% marks (Relaxation to 45% for SC/ST or differently-abled categories)
  • Admission Process: Based on merit in the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET/CUET-PG)
