Power Within Psychology’s Topper’s Talk shines a spotlight this year on a remarkable CUET‑PG Psychology 2025 achiever. In this exclusive session, our topper, Sagnik Chakraborty shares their personal journey — strategy, challenges, key support systems — and how Power Within Psychology (PWP) became the game‑changer.

Sagnik, the CUET PG Psychology 2025 topper from West Bengal, is a Psychology graduate from Sikkim University. Known for his calm determination and concept-driven approach, he preferred understanding over rote learning — an outlook that resonated with Power Within Psychology’s structured and interactive methodology.
Initially uncertain and overwhelmed by scattered resources, Sagnik found direction through PWP’s live classes, personalized mentoring, and curated study plans.
Starting the Journey: Clarity Over Chaos
Like many aspirants, he too began his preparation with ambition and confusion in equal measure.
“I didn’t know where to begin. Psychology is such a vast subject, and the content online was too scattered. I needed structure.”
That clarity began to emerge when he joined Power Within Psychology. What changed first wasn’t the score — but the mindset. The journey became more streamlined and purposeful.
Early Dream to Strategic Action
Like many aspirants, he too began his preparation with ambition and confusion in equal measure.
“After attending the first PWP session, I knew I found the right environment.”
This isn’t mere hype. PWP provided not just quality study materials and live classes, but also a community of motivated peers — all working toward the same goal.
A Legacy of Excellence | Choose your Dream College with PWP

| Support Feature | Topper’s Exact Words |
|---|---|
| Live Classes with Faculty | “The classes were very interactive… I didn’t feel like I was just listening to a lecture, it felt like a conversation where we could ask questions and get clarity.” |
| Mock Test Series | “The mock tests actually helped a lot. They gave me an idea about the pattern and also showed me where I was lacking… it built my confidence gradually.” |
| Strategically Guided Mentoring | “One of the best things was the guidance — like how to prepare, what to study when, how to revise. That plan kept me consistent.” |
| One-to-One Doubt Solving | “I had small doubts that I didn’t want to ask in class… the one-on-one sessions gave me that safe space. I could ask anything without feeling judged.” |
| Curated Study Material | “The material was crisp and structured. I didn’t have to waste time figuring out what’s relevant. That saved me a lot of energy during revision.” |
Beyond the Syllabus: Confidence, Community, and Mindset
While the academic strategy was vital, what stood out most was the emotional connect. He shared how the faculty made the learning space feel personal and supportive.
“Sometimes, I was nervous to ask questions. But the environment was so encouraging—it really mattered. That feeling of not being judged kept me going.”
In high-pressure exam environments, such support can make the difference between staying stuck and moving forward.

Steps Ahead: Sagnik’s Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Sagnik shared that he is deeply interested in Cognitive Psychology, a field that fascinates him for its focus on mental processes like memory, perception, and decision-making. He expressed a strong desire to continue his academic journey at a reputed institution, with Banaras Hindu University (BHU) being one of his top choices.
“I am really interested in Cognitive Psychology… that is something I want to explore further. And BHU has always been a dream for me. I’ve seen the structure of their course, and it really aligns with my interests. So, I’m hoping to get into BHU. I’m also applying for DU and TISS… but BHU is definitely one of my top preferences.”
Sagnik’s journey ahead is all about learning more, staying focused, and finding the right place to grow further in Psychology.
Final Advice to Aspirants
When asked what advice he would give to future aspirants, his message was clear:
- “Trust the process. Follow a routine, don’t get distracted by what others are doing, and take the mocks seriously.”
- “Use the PWP plan. If you stick to it, you will improve. I did.”
