Admission Guidelines 2026–27

Rashtriya Raksha University Admission Guidelines 2026–27 apply to all regular programs (Certificate, UG, PG) across Gujarat and regional campuses. Admissions are conducted online only.

Eligibility Criteria – General: 55%, SC/ST: 45%, Kashmiri Migrants: 40%.

Important Rules:
Vacant SC/ST seats are first interchanged between SC & ST, then converted to General; vacant EWS seats are converted to General. If no eligible female candidate is available, the seat is offered to a male of the same category.

Reservation Certificate Requirements: Valid GOI-format certificates issued by authorized officials are mandatory for OBC (NCL), SC/ST, EWS, and PwD; wrong format or non-submission leads to Unreserved category consideration.

PwD candidates must provide a ≥40% disability medical certificate (with photo) to claim horizontal reservation; without valid proof, they are treated as General category.

Supernumerary (Additional) Seats: Special additional seats are available for categories such as Kashmiri Migrants/Pandits (relaxation up to 10% and intake increase), wards of Police/Defence/Paramilitary/Ex-Servicemen (5%), international candidates (15%), and sports quota (5% or at least one seat per program).

Admission Cancellation Process 2026–27:

  • Visit the official portal: RRU Admission
  • Log in with registered credentials
  • Fill out the Admission Cancellation Application form
  • Upload required documents: fee receipt, ID proof, bank passbook
  • Download the completed form and submit it with documents to your department
  • Note: Complete submission is mandatory for refund processing
  • Refund will be processed after completion of admission process, expected after November 2026

Legal & Administrative Provisions – Admission Committee can amend rules; final authority rests with Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Admission Committee; any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
