About the University
Central University of Haryana (CUH) is one of the fifteen new Central Universities established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under the Central Universities Act, 2009 during the XI Five Year Plan (2007–2012). It is a fully UGC-funded institution and has been accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC in its second cycle of assessment (August 2023), also securing a position among the top 150–200 universities in the NIRF rankings. The university is located on a sprawling permanent campus of around 484 acres in Jant-Pali villages of Mahendergarh district, Haryana, and currently offers around 86 academic programmes at UG, PG, and research levels across multiple disciplines. CUH is committed to academic excellence, interdisciplinary learning, and research innovation, guided by the vision of the Vice Chancellor to promote holistic student development in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

About the Department
The Department of Psychology, Central University of Haryana (CUH) was established in 2014–15 under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. It aims to provide quality education, research training, and practical exposure in psychology. The department offers programmes such as M.A., B.Sc. (Hons.), Ph.D., and RCI-approved courses (PGDRP & ADCGC). It is well-equipped with modern laboratories, psychological testing tools, and ICT facilities to support learning and research. The department also organizes seminars, workshops, internships, and other academic activities, focusing on areas like personality, psychological testing, rehabilitation, positive psychology, and health psychology.

UG Programme (B.Sc. Psychology Hons.)
- Eligibility:The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination in any discipline having at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST or differently abled categories) in the qualifying examination from a recognized board/university.

- Duration:1 Year

- Eligibility:Minimum educational requirement for admission to this course will be Bachelor’s degree (regular mode) with general psychology courses in all t he three years, orMaster’s degree in any branch of psychology (regular or distance mode), or Master’s degree in counselling psychology (regular or distance mode) with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST/OBC category). - Eligibility:Any recognized Master’s Degree in Social Work / Psychology / Child Development / Community Resource Management / Development Communication Extension / Nursing / Special Education, OR
M.Ed. from a recognized University, OR
Any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in the above fields with a minimum 5 years of experience of working with children, OR
B.Ed. from a recognized University with minimum 4 years of experience, OR

Ph.D. Programme
- Eligibility:Post-Graduation in Psychology from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate (45% for SC/ST or differently abled categories).
- Admission Criteria:Direct interview for NET/JRF/GATE/M.Phil./Teacher Fellowship holders. Entrance test followed by interview for other candidates.

Step 2: Read all general instructions, eligibility details, and important notices carefully.
Step 3: Click on “Apply for Admissions” and start the registration process.
Step 4: Register yourself by entering basic details like name, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 5: Login using the generated credentials (user ID and password).
Step 6: Fill the application form with personal details, academic qualifications, and programme preferences.
Step 7: Upload required documents such as photograph, signature, educational certificates, and category/experience certificates.
Step 8: Pay the registration/application fee online through available payment modes.
