Department of Sports Psychology

The Department of Sports Psychology at the Central University of Rajasthan, established under the School of Sports Sciences with support from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), Government of India, offers a two-year postgraduate programme in Sports Psychology focused on athlete performance, mental well-being, and professional psychological practice in sports settings. The department combines theoretical learning, practical training, research, ethics, and critical thinking to prepare students as skilled professionals in the field while promoting academic excellence, innovation, and high-impact interdisciplinary research in sports psychology.

The laboratory is equipped with various psychological assessment tools and apparatus such as Eye-Hand Coordination Test Apparatus, Minnesota Manual Dexterity Test, Memory Drum, Tachistoscope, Bassin Anticipation Timer, Ravens Progressive Matrices, NEO Personality Assessment Software, and several sports-specific scales measuring anxiety, emotional intelligence, motivation, aggression, self-control, and locus of control, helping students gain hands-on experience in psychological testing, assessment, and research techniques.

  • Sports Psychology

    M.A./M.Sc. in Sports Psychology is a 2-year postgraduate programme offered by the Central University of Rajasthan focusing on sports performance, mental well-being, counseling, and athlete psychology. Central University of Rajasthan Admission Portal 2026

Application Steps – PG Admission 2026-27

Step 1: Appear in CUET PG 2026

Candidates must appear in CUET PG 2026 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the relevant programme paper code.

Step 2: Register on CURAJ Admission Portal

After the declaration of CUET PG results, candidates need to register online through the Central University of Rajasthan Admission Portal for their desired programme.

Step 3: Pay Registration Fee

Pay the non-refundable registration fee online:

  • ₹400 for General Category
  • ₹250 for EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PWD candidates
    (Additional transaction charges/taxes may apply.)

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, educational certificates, category certificates, and other required documents in the prescribed file size.

Step 5: Merit List Preparation

The university will prepare and publish programme-wise merit lists based on CUET PG scores and reservation policy.

Step 6: Document Verification

The Departmental Admission Committee (DAC) will verify eligibility and uploaded documents. Candidates may be contacted for clarification or re-submission if required.

Step 7: Academic Fee Payment

Eligible candidates shortlisted in the merit list must pay the academic fee within the prescribed deadline.

Step 8: Admission Confirmation

Admission will be confirmed only after successful fee payment and verification of eligibility/documents.

Step 9: Waiting List Process

Candidates not allotted seats initially may be considered through the waiting list if vacancies arise due to cancellation or withdrawal.

Step 10: Final Admission Updates

All admission notices, merit lists, fee payment details, and counselling updates will be published on the university website.

Tie-Breaking Policy

  5. Final decision by the competent authority if tie still continues
